The Redhead Premier Reduced Length is a smaller version of CZ USA’s flagship Under/Over shotgun, and is a cross between a classy, elegant long-gun and an all-purpose workhorse. Its shorter, 13 inch length of pull and shorter 24 inch barrels makes Redhead Premier Reduced Length an excellent choice for shooters of a smaller stature, but retains all of the top-notch features as the original. Just like the full-size version, the stock and fore-grip are made from premium Turkish walnut, and features laser-cut checking as well as a dark, reddish finish that gives the shotgun a simple but sophisticated appearance. Adding to its aesthetics is a silver satin chrome finish on the receiver, and a glossy black chrome finish on the barrels – not only does this look good, but also helps the Redhead Premier stand up to the elements. In terms of functionality, the Redhead Premier utilizes a one-piece precision CNC-machined receiver with independent automatic ejectors that reliably kick out spent shells shot after shot. Other features of the Redhead Premier include a single trigger and mechanical safety with a barrel selector, allowing the shooter to choose which barrel fires first. In addition, the Redhead Premier comes with interchangeable chokes.
