Got my new Traverse 300 PRC to the range a couple times last week to break it in. Would love to give this rifle 5 stars, but I just can't. Couple of bonehead muffs by C.A. that could easily have been avoided and give it a chance to truly be a fine rifle. First off, the Trigger Tech trigger is set at 3.25 pounds and is (not) adjustable. Every Trigger Tech sold by them is adjustable - but not this one (warranty is voided). I prefer a lot lighter trigger and every other rifle I own has an adjustable trigger that allows me this flexibility. Not being able to adjust a trigger is just really odd and doesn't help accuracy.
Side baffle muzzle brake with 4 ports; nice design (if they would have finished it) many sharp burrs on the inside making it a real pain to clean. Following the C.A. Break-in Procedure requires cleaning every 6 rounds. No problem, don't mind it a bit, until you go to mop up the muzzle brake and discover that there are 6 threaded grooves remaining directly in front of your crown (nearly impossible to get at) collecting a pool of bore/copper cleaner at the muzzle (not cool). Sharp metal burrs shred your Q-tips, swabs, etc., pipe cleaners are useless here . So a 15 minute cleaning job turns into 45 mins every 6 rounds at break-in! Accuracy - where's the accuracy of a $2400 rig? It just isn't there! My budget M18 Mauser or any of my Tikka's I paid a fraction of the $ for, are far more accurate out of the box! Loading: with the provided picatinny rail and any quality long range scope mounted, loading cartridges into the internal magazine is a major pain and will never be swift. Unless perhaps if you have very long skinny fingers. A pic rail with a hefty scope and typical windage dial just doesn't work well here.
It might do somewhat better if the scope is mounted extra high, but then who wants to do that?
Hoping I can figure out how to get better accuracy out of this long range beast. May need to buy a new trigger for my new rifle.

Christensen Arms Traverse is an amazing rifle, very accurate and EuroOptics had a better price than anyone out there.
