All barrels are cold-hammer forged and made from 4150 Chrome Moly Vanadium steel with a mil-spec heavy phosphate coating as well as a chrome lining for superior durability. In addition, Daniel Defense Barrels are offered in a massive assortment of configurations, with options available for different lengths, gas-blocks, thread pitches, and calibers.

Exactly what you expect
Excellent accuracy out of this CHF/CL barrel. Batch testing of 20 different factory ammo samples produced .41 to 2.1MOA groups (bench, 10x fixed power, 100Y). More than pleased with those results from this beefy barrel. You really cannot go wrong with DD barrels. Gas port is rather large at 0.99. Pretty generous gas with that size giving a last round bolt hold open (reliably) with all ammo tested at 10 of 18 open clicks on a Superlative AGB.
