Full Ambi controls, grab the adapter plates, and you are set. The only proprietary parts on this are the Mag Release and the bolt catch, everything else is normal AR lower parts.
I don't personally care for the rear set screw to snug the upper to the lower, I prefer accuwedges or ear plugs or similar instead, as it keeps things tool-less and depending on the grip installed the set screw ends up covered up, but leaving it out doesn't hurt anything at all.
Qmag works fine with 223/556 and 300blk. With the adapter plates installed, the cmmg 22lr kit runs fine, 762x39 runs fine, and even endomag 9mm runs fine. So even if you aren't sold on the Qmag side of things, with the adapter plate you've got a very competitively priced full ambi lower.

This lower and mag kit is awesome! Lower assembly with standard AR parts was a breeze. The mag loads fairly easy, but it's a shame DT hasn't designed a LuLa style loader to make it easier and faster. After assembly to a 16" upper it went to the range where it performed perfectly. There were absolutely no mis-feeds or problems of any kind when emptying the entire 53 rds.
After installing the magwell inserts everything worked as well as it did with the DT mags using g.i. aluminum, Magpul, ETS, and Wilson 30 rdrs. One of these days I'll try a Magpul D60, and I expect it to work, also.
In all, I couldn't be happier with the performance, and really like having the extra rounds in a mag that is no longer than a standard 30. This is quite a package!!!
