Its powered by the patented Synchronized Binary Cam System – an innovative design that utilizes two perfectly symmetrical cams that work together for flat-line nock travel, maximum accuracy, a smooth draw cycle, and speeds up to 320 feet per second. The Synchronized Binary Cam System also allows easy adjustability using a simple allen-key: the Alter’s draw length can be adjusted between 21” to 31” by removing the module screws, adjusting the draw length, and re-tightening. The Alter’s draw cycle is equally customizable thanks to the FlipDisc, which allows the archer to adapt the Alter to their particular shooting style. In addition to the draw length and draw cycle, the draw weight can be adjusted as well between 8 to 70 pounds.
