Purchased about 2 months ago. Mounted on a Remington 700 .308 with Badger USMC M40 rings and Badger rail. I have used this rifle for PRS and long range shooting for several years and confirm that it shoots better that .3 moa when shooter is doing their part.
Initially, I zeroed the Eotech at 100m and confirmed shooting approx. .4 moa on that outing. I was able to stretch out with the Eotech and use the elevation and windage this weekend. Solution was solved by Kestrel and dialed. Targets were set at 370m, w/measured full-value 4-7mph wind from 3 o'clock. 1.8mil U/ .3mil R and 3/5 impacts within .1 mil R of center, 1/5 dead center of target.
Glass is VERY clear edge to edge. Illumination is very good and adjutable. FFP reticle is rather heavy for long range precision on full magnification. 370m targets were sighted on 12x - at 18 the target was obscured by reticle. I would not hesitate to take on targets at 800m+ once size was estimated. Turrets are sure, tactile. Between rounds 2 and 3, I dialed back to zero and then re-dialed the solution - all was repeated. Would like a tall-target test next, but didn't have the time or round on hand.
This is my second Eotech VUDU scope and I am very pleased. My intention is to use this outfit for mid-long range hunting. The Eotech replaces an S-B PMII 5-25 that, while an exceptional optic, was not practical for hunting pursuits.
As far as robust build, clarity, resolution and brightness, Eotech has hit it out of the park with this line of scopes.

The EOTech VUDU 3.5-18X50 FFP MD1 scope was as advertised. It is a solid heavy duty scope. The optics are clear and the mrad reticle was exactly what I was looking for. Unfortunately, the illuminated reticle did not work. I contacted EOTech support, but could not get the illumination to turn on. You don't have any of these in stock, so, I've returned the scope for a refund. The scope is large and heavy as would be expected with a scope in this category. But for the illuminated reticle issue, I would love this scope.
