FN has always been known for quality firearms, and the FNS-40C is no exception. What's kept me away from FN pistols is their high price, but EuroOptic's $380 deal is an exceptional value, especially since three magazines as well as night sights are included. On the range my pistol has performed flawlessly so far, as expected. Moreover, compared to the Glock 23, the FN is in my subjective opinion quite beautiful - in its finish, shape and engravings. My only quibbles are (1) that my flashlight/laser won't fit on its accessory rail as it fits on the Glock, probably because of the shape of the trigger guard, and (2) the mag release button is not as prominent and easy to use as I would like.

I've tried almost every sub compact and compact striker fired out there and this is the best for me. Unlike the Glock this grip is very comfortable with a nice undercut and a trigger guard that has a little room to it. Very smooth as easy shooting gun even in the more powerful 40. Night sights are bright. Love this gun

First time purchasing from EuroOptic. Very Impressed. Ordered On Thursday at 12:10. The FNH 40C pistol was at my local FFL AT 1PM Friday. Pennsylvania to NE Tennessee within 25 hours. My $19.99 shipping fee was well spent. The pistol is exactly as described. New in box. 66796 included one 10 round flat floorplate magazine, one 10 rd mag with finger extension, and one full size 14 rd mag with the extended mag slip over piesce that makes the grip same as a full size grip. Pistol shipped with a very cool small FNH magnet on the slide thstmis now on my safe. Just picked up from FFL this morning so not fired yet. However I have no doubt if will perform flawlessly and meet every expectation. After all it is an Fabrique National Herstal which is simply a world class firearm! And at EuroOptics fantastic price is simply cannot be beat! Im extremely satisified with the firearm, the unbeatable price, and Euro Optics outstanding trustworthy service thanks to Derek. Highly recommend EuroOptic.com and FNH! Buy your favorite featured model of this .40 cal pistol before they sell out. Merry Christmas 2018

I now own 5 FN handguns: FNX-9, FNS-9 full and compact, FNS-40 full and compact, most with night sights. 3 mags standard and fully ambi. Cost less than their competitors but just as accurate and reliable. Highly recommend both FN and EuroOptic.

I went looking for a quality concealable pistol with at least 10 rounds of .40 S&W in the magazine. I was pleasantly surprised to find this bargain-priced FN pistol that included free night sights. It's very solidly built & reliably shoots tight groups at the range. I couldn't ask for more.

Purchased an FN FNS 40c, item #66796 on 11/30/2019 for $299.00. Some initial thoughts - The good: Seems well made, at least as good as my Glocks. Shoots POA with 180 grain loads. Accurate, under 2 inch groups from a rest at 25 yards. No malfunctions in 200 rounds. The bad: Trigger is just okay, a little "notchy". Night sights are very dimm. Found out there is a re-call in effect for this pistol by FN do to possible striker / safety issues. FN sent me a pre-paid label, and it is currently at FN for re-call repair and possible night sight replacement. I am curious why it is advertised as a "new" pistol, but comes up under the Euro Optics webb site under "Demo / Used"? Fired cartridge included with gun indicates 2015 manufacture. Police contract over-run? Assuming it comes back from FN with no further issues, it seems to be a very good deal for a compact .40 pistol, and a better choice then used earlier generation Glocks in the same price range that have poorly supported case heads, resulting in bulged case heads upon firing. The FNS 40c does not show this issue with fired cases.

Terrific shooting & engineered handgun at an exceptional value [$299] from EuroOptic. They even have a military discount with appropriate identification. Curios that the FNS-40C box has a 2018 date on the label but the included envelope with the test firing shell is dated 2015. Perhaps new stock returned to FN America for inspection [ref FN's campaign to replace parts on a specific window of serialnumbers?]
Awesome firearm that shoots great.

this is an awesome reliable pistol and is it absolute steal at this price! the only negative thing I could possibly say about this pistol is it's a little on the chunky side for inside the waistband carry . Excellent quick service from eurooptic as well, I ordered it one morning and it was at my FFL the next day by noon!

Let me start off by saying that this gun is amazing. For a supposedly new gun, I received mine with severe scratches on top of the breech. Secondly the night sights are virtually non-existent. They are so dim. Shouldn't be surprised since this gun was likely produced in 2015. FNH might be able to help me with that. Who knows? Those are the only things to gripe about. Shipping was amazingly fast. For $339 before tax and shipping, I can't complain too much...

While I had intended to purchase a 9mm variant off of Classic Firearms a few weeks earlier, they were sold out by the time I got home from work. But then I found this and it was $50 cheaper; pretty much impossible to pass up at that price. The gun itself is in great condition and seemed to have very few rounds down the pipe. I've only put probably 200 rounds through it at this point but no issues so far, though there is the factory recall regarding the potential drop fire issue that i need to have done yet. Had a little trouble getting my FFL info sent over, but that's because Gander Outdoors is lazy, no fault of Euro-optics, and their customer service was pleasant the few times i called or emailed to see if they had received the info yet. I give the gun a 4-4.5 star rating so far but the price and customer service are a definite 5 star!

I am a FN guy, I have the FNAR, FN fnp 40 and the FNS 40 Compact. For $300 is insane this is absolutely the most accurate hand gun I own and I have a few. I want another one but the boss (wife) won't let me.

I've owned my FNS 40C for almost four years and It's easily my favorite, accurate and dependable pistol that I own. Unlike my Glock's it fits my hand without modifying for more grip and does not rub on my knuckle under the trigger guard. Now i'm not trying to bash my Glock's because I like them too but there is no comparison in MY hand. The included (2) 10 round mags allow a very easy to conceal carry weapon but the (1) 14 round mag with included sleeve so the longer magazine matches the profile of the rest of the grip effectively turns this compact into a 14 + 1 mid sized weapon at no added cost.
My one gripe with my FNS was I failed to buy mine with the factory night sights but it is so accurate I didn't want to risk losing the POA and POI with non NOS sights so I recently bought another FNS 40C, this time with night sights from EuroOptic at a steep discount. Very pleased with the customer service and one day shipment to Montana too.

I've had my FNS-40C for about 6 months now. I shot the Police qualification with it and it is my main edc now. I totally love it. It has the smoothest trigger of any gun I've ever shot right out of the box. Clean break with a real nice reset. The weight of the gun makes for smooth follow up shots unlike some sub-compact 40's. Love it!

Fantastic deal made even better by the speed with which it was delivered to my ffl. Eurooptic was and is a real pleasure to do business with. This pistol, FN FNS in 40S&W is solid and accurate. I highly recommend it.

2000 rounds in a week and not one fte or ftl. Fairly heavy barrel makes target acquisition easy. Feels similar to my Glock 19

Everything about the company was good. Shipping was fast. Only thing I have bad to say is when I registered the pistol on the FN website there is a recall on the trigger. Beside that after I recieve it back it should have 5 stars hopefully.

I thought this price might be too good to be true. It’s an Awsome fun with very good accuracy and action. I have the line of FN products now from 9-45 and this .50 is my favorite. I did not expect this field and accuracy from a compact. The product shipped in 24 hours which surprised me as well. Their customer service was very good

I like the gun alot. However, the brand new gun was subject to the recall even though I asked before I purchased and was told none of the guns were subject to recall. Manufacture date on case references 2018 but FN said manufactured in 2016. Don't know If FN or Eurooptic fault.

Pardon me for being "terse", $299 is not the best part of this purchase. I am 100% Glock FAN after you sort of modify them to approach this FN FNS040C. It is definitely SUPER RELIABLE. The slide ergonomics are fantastic. Regardless if you are donning heavy winter gloves, or, bare handed weak wet cold hands, you can really work this slide. Glock slide maladies are only overcome if modded to arrive at similar results. The frame removable / replaceable slide mount points are very well engineered if you were to ever wear them out. They are also responsible for the out of box accuracy according to my calipers. Trigger is CCH all the way. There are attempts to improve the trigger but the aftermarket ones are EYE-CANDY ONLY and TOO LIGHT in the final outcome for this tool's intended application. Do I still consider myself a fan of GLOCK? Very much so (own 26 of them) I have to confess, but considering all things, I can't find one thing, unlike Glocks, to MOD on this FNFNS40C for CCH out of the BOX. I have other FN hand guns all are really well finished refined works of engineering. But this FN 40C for $299.00 !!!!! Out of the BOX the FN, unlike GLOCK, has no frame slap with top end Underwood or BUFBORE AMMO. Or at least WAY LESS as to not be felt.
What a find!!!!! WHAT A BUY!!!! So I bought 3 total 1 40C and 2 of which were a few bucks more because they were the 9MM version for my family totes. In closing, buy a couple of these if you are considering just one.
I know I did not mention the SIGHTS but I told you I was going to be terse! I think I just talked me into another one...
