This may be my favorite HK in terms of size. It really fits into a sort of Glock 19 alternative, but in DA/SA (especially if you add the flat baseplates to the magazines). I would say get this, the Gray Guns short reset kit, a nickel plated sear spring, and either a 10 lb. or 12 lb. hammer spring for the USP from Wolff (works for the P2000). You'll make a good pistol into a great pistol. You can also add the +2 magazine conversion kits for the P30/VP9 to the P2000 magazines and end up with 15 rd magazines (as a side note the 13 rd VP9sk magazines that are on clearance at a number of places currently will also work with the P2000 if you swap the baseplate). And if you're of the right age you can LARP as a member of the CT.
