Description

New for 2021, Holosun’s Advanced Enclosed Micro Sight or AEMS, is a ultra-compact reflex sight that comes packed with features. It comes equipped with Holosun’s exclusive Solar Failsafe to keep the optic powered in the event of a battery failure. The AEMS also features Shake Awake technology which utilizes an on-board motion sensor that activates the sight at the slightest movement. Not only does this greatly increase battery life, but also makes the AEMS always at the ready. In addition, the AEMS features a wide field of view, and is 11% shorter than most traditional 20mm micro sights.

Rugged little night vision performer. Although the glass seems to be just okay during the day, the passive aiming for night vision is phenomenal for the price. Almost EOTech/ aimpoint level. The 'shake awake' and solar back up features are very nice as well and give peace of mind to running a red dot as your 'go-to'. The battery compartment uses torx screws which isn't awesome but in the bright side they don't seem like they'd strip out easily. I just taped a spare battery and the small tool to the inside the pistol grip and it's a non-factor. Overall it's a great little red dot and there's traction in the aftermarket with companies offering many different height mounting options, I would definitely recommend it.
