i actually meant to buy a red dot but didn’t thoroughly check and this gold dot sight showed up and i was like well. its sorta “vibey” i’ll just use it for now on my 12” mt. for my 308 and its not too bad. you turn knobs for power and the brightness goes up to 12 which could blind you if you’re not careful however you need this in full or angled sunlight which causes the dot to wash out on reflective surfaces ( low level yellow light is impossible to see) so having it up at like 9-10 in daytime will get the job done however it is noticeably more “bloomy” but my astigmatism will cause that on all dots so its negligible. overall its satisfactory and like i said kindof unique if you’re not red or green colorblind then there is no real need for this other than the vibes.

The gold dot is very nice. It's crisp, clear, and very bright, even behind a magnifier. It zeroed easily on a bright day. This is my third purchase from Eurooptic. As always, quick shipping and delivery, along with amazing prices.

I currently have this optic mounted on a Springfield Hellion. I swapped the 1/3rd cowitness mount with the low mount and it cowitnessed perfectly with the built in iron sights on the rifle. The optic has a bit of a bluish tint to it but it doesn't hurt the clarity when shooting outside. It tracks well and the gold dot shows up against outdoor backgrounds. Time will tell on the durability. Good inexpensive optic. The paint on the adjustment surfaces and battery cover is easily scratched though.
