I don't usually leave reviews, but after purchasing this optic, I had to. The before review with a 2-star rating is driving me bananas. This is a 5-star optic, hands down. This is an RMR killer. I trust my life to this closed emitter holosun and love it.
The other individual who reviewed this fine piece of equipment is clearly uninformed. It is not the optics' fault that you don't know what gun you can and can't mount this RDS on. For that, you are uninformed, and to leave a review dowing the optic shows his/her lack of intelligence.

I purchased the Holosun 509T to use as an offset red dot with my Nightforce NXS 2.5-10x42. I could not be happier. While watching reviews of the 509T I heard a lot about distortion while looking threw it. When up closer it is noticeable, but when I put it on my rifle it is hardly noticeable at all. I found this to be a great option for an offset red dot and would not hesitate to purchase again.

Another great optic from holosun. For whatever reason even with my astigmatism this red dot appears much clearer than even my other holosuns. It has functioned flawlessly and I think it will for years to come.

Euro optic was super fast with shipping this out, too bad it doesn't work with MOS style mounts for glocks. You need to get shorter length screws or custom designed mounting plate to put it on a G40 MOS. Be warned it won't work out of the box for these styles of guns.
