The Holosun HS510C is an Open Reflex Sight created with Solar Failsafe™ which means you won't have to worry about battery failure. With the added feature of automatic brightness adjustment, you'll be able to use your red-dot in almost any lighting condition. Add to that the convenience of Shake Awake™, the user-programmable LED shut-off technology that wakes with the slightest movement, and you have one of the most battery efficient micro reflex sights on the market. I mounted this sight(HS 510 C) on my Spikes Tactical, sighted in, then took it to a class. Shot 500 rounds during the class, the sight worked just as I expected. The sight allowed me to acquire my targets, large or small quickly. The shake awake feature is a must have for me for home defense. I'll likely buy another soon!

I'm rating this as five stars as it's the right price (a great deal) for what it is. It's NOT holographic like an Eotech, but it does have the awesome Eotech like reticle and a nice FDE coating... nice sized window... huge fan of the Holosun 507cx2... love Holosuns in general and so far this one is good to go. I'm a red reticle fan and got a green one for my friend so far we are both happy.
