Hornady’s CX Bullets are an ideal option for everything from medium to large sized game. They come equipped with Hornady’s exclusive HeatShield tip. Unlike polymer-tipped bullets of a lesser quality, the HeatShield tip of the CX Bullet resists the aerodynamic heating that would normally cause the tip to deform midflight. This results in consistently high BC over the entire flight path, and also gives the bullet a perfect meplat (tip) for bullet-to-bullet and lot-to-lot consistency. Other features of the CX Bullets include optimized groove geometry that maximizes aerodynamic performance while effectively reducing bearing surface and fouling. In addition, the CX Bullets are constructed from ultra-durable copper alloy that retains up to 95% of its weight for maximum lethality.
