All of Hornady’s Custom Pistol Rounds utilize a specially formulated propellent to ensure optimal pressure, velocity and consistency from lot to lot. The primers are also held to the same standard, with each primer matched to individual loads, and specifically selected for their ability to quickly, completely, and reliably ignite the powder charge. In addition, the brass used is meticulously selected to ensure it meets high standards for reliable feeding, corrosion resistance, proper hardness and the ability to withstand maximum chamber pressures.
