These pistol cartridges are available in a wide assortment of common calibers, and come loaded with either a Hornady XTP, FMJ-RN, XTP Mag, FTX or FP (flat point)-XTP bullets – all of which deliver the performance, accuracy, and dependability that all Hornady ammunition is known for. All of Hornady’s Custom Pistol Rounds utilize a specially formulated propellent to ensure optimal pressure, velocity and consistency from lot to lot. The primers are also held to the same standard, with each primer matched to individual loads, and specifically selected for their ability to quickly, completely, and reliably ignite the powder charge. In addition, the brass used is meticulously selected to ensure it meets high standards for reliable feeding, corrosion resistance, proper hardness and the ability to withstand maximum chamber pressures.
