Hoyt’s Formula XD Riser was designed in response to the ever changing demands of professional target recurve archers, and comes fully equipped with new and advanced technologies. The Formula XD Riser utilizes Hoyt’s exclusive 360 Dampener System, a new design that kills vibration and significantly improves in-shot feel. The 360 Dampener System is well-matched with the Dynamic Flex Control Feature which provides flex when it’s ideal, and stiffness when its needed. To ensure optimal string tension adjustability and a customized limb feel, the Formula XD Riser features small adjustments at the limb rocker point make the limbs feel shorter or longer, without any other alterations of the bow, limbs, or the tune of the bow. The Formula XD Riser’s level of adjustability and customization also extends to the Perfect Balance Weight System, VertaTune Clicker Plate, and Optimized Grip Position. The Perfect Balance Weight System (PBWS) incorporates two 1-ounce weights which can be moved between the top and bottom limb pockets to customize the vertical balance. The VertaTune Clicker Plate on the other hand utilizes three rest plates – high, middle, & low – to make the arrow rest position accommodate and archer’s shooting style. Finally, the Optimized Grip Position shifts away from Hoyt’s previous Formula designs by centralizing the position of the grip. This results in better tuning by decreasing unwanted vertical nock travel, and promotes more consistent engagement from the archer and helps achieve a linear shot response. In addition, the Formula XD Riser is outfitted with a Pro Series Dovetail Block which features an all-new precision alloy insert to help eliminate potential galling, as well as unwanted noises and vibrations being generated from the limb pocket during the draw cycle.
