It's good - everything hunter may need - nothing he don't .
optical performance cannot be better for hunting . Leica after all is top optical lens player .

Great Glass. Clear, easy Zero w/zero stop.

Very nice scope. It's worth more than what it sells for top-quality glass at a reasonable price. On a custom-built 280 ackley improved 700 action, Hart 26" #4 stainless barrel, and McMillan stock.

This scope is excellent and the sale price is an absolute bargain. The overall built quality is superb, and the glass is amazing. The glass to my eyes is identical to S&B PMII glass as far as resolution, brightness, and colors. Zero CA whatsoever and an excellent eyebox. The low light performance also leaves nothing to be desired. The tooless elevation turret is a nice feature as well. The illumination gets dim enough for low light use and bright enough for daytime use, I also like that it's just a center dot basically so it doesn't wash out the target/image much in low light. They really nailed the illumination on this thing for practical uses.
The only place I can knock it is on the windage turret which it seems Leica just cut a corner for cost on the dial ring itself. It only has a "0" and hashes which is fine but the minors and majors are set up in sequences of 4's like they would be on an MOA scope, not 10's with a .5 line in the middle like most mil scopes. It's still marked as MRAD adjustments and dials as such. IMO a complete non issue as I don't dial windage other than zeroing and this type of turret isn't really set up for that kind of use anyway. It's not enough for me to knock its rating but more or less just a thought of why did they not just run a batch of properly marked rings.
The reticle also isn't correct on this page, it's almost correct but the scope actually has a 5 mil tree instead of the 4 shown. Certainly not a bad thing to have another mil of elevation and wind holds. If you go to Leicas page and pull up the reticle PDF it will show the correct 5 mil tree.
If Leica marketed and advertised this scope a little better it would be a hit. The "BDC" labeling is a little confusing to some and I can understand why. This is a mil/mil scope with a very well done simple mil tree reticle, not a typical BDC scope as most familiar with them are accustomed to.

Amazing glass and function really tough to beat. Own a vx5 and this is superior. I really like that scope as well. If you’re looking for a great hunting scope under 1k this can’t be beat.

excellent scope for the eurooptic price. we all know it is good glass and combined with the Horus type reticle in Mil/Mil and the BDC you can't beat this for a good hunting scope and even a precision scope. Super happy with EuroOptic. Thanks

This may be the best value in a hunting riflescope on the market. The magnification range is perfect for the vast majority of hunting, the reticle is useful without being excessively cluttered, the illumination is sufficient and only the center dot illuminates which I personally prefer. The turrets are very tactile and distinct and you get all of this in only 14 oz. Do I need to comment on the glass and low light transmission? It's a Leica with a 56mm objective. It rivals scopes that are nearly 2x or more the price. I wish I'd known about this gem sooner.

I have two of these scopes, the 56 mm and the 50 mm. I have been very happy with them. The glass is fantastic, the design seems robust, and the turrets track consistently with the dial detents being sharp and distinct as noted in other reviews. they are very bright in low light. The reticle is fairly fine which helps with precision shooting at distance. The illumination works well so that fine reticle isn't a hindrance in low light. I think these are one of the best values out there for a quality scope. Just so you know, this is a 2nd focal plane MIL based scope as opposed to a MOA based scope.

Super clear glass and an excellent reticle. Will be testing it today at the range, I have owned Leica products and have never been disappointed.

Bought this for my 6.5-300 Weatherby. I typically go with MOA scopes, but I put on a custom turret from Kenton which makes yardage adjustments a cinch. Made a 360 yard shot on a beautiful buck at the last minute of light this year. Don’t think I could’ve done that with many other scopes. Love it!

This is a fantastic scope in every aspect! It tracks ,repeats, and the glass is pristine.Between the crystal clear glass and tiny illuminated dot, this scope is a great lowlight deer hunting scope. Clicks are sharp and distinct , and the zero stop is simple to set and works great. If your on the fence about buying one of these buy it before they are gone. As always Jason and euro optics are first class all the way!
