Description

Leica sets a new standard for rangefinding binoculars with the Geovid R 10x42! Perfectly suited for hunters and long range shooters, the Geovid R 10x42 works well is virtually any glassing application, and is light enough to be carried all day. It comes equipped with precision laser technology, capable of providing accurate ranges on targets up to 2000 yards away and features two measuring modes: Scanning Mode and Single Measurement. The Geovid R’s precise laser range finder is perfectly complimented by its impressive optical performance, allowing the user to consistently identify even the smallest details in any situation or environment. The quality of the optics is thanks to a modified Uppendahl Prism System, as well as an HDC multi-layer lens coating to provide enhanced light transmission. In addition, the Geovid R 10x42 offers excellent ergonomics with larger controls in strategic locations for ease of use and longer glassing sessions.

Another great purchase from my friends at EuroOptic! I'm headed to Africa on my first plains game safari this June. I wanted a top bino with a range finder but did not want to mortgage my house to buy a set. I saw this Leica Geovid R 10x42 for $1399.00. At first I was reluctant to buy them because they are less than 1/2 the price of the Zeiss and Swaros. I took a chance on them knowing EuroOptics fantastic return policy. I pressed buy and they were here 2 days later. All I can say is WOW. Much better than I expected. The optical quality is as good as my Zeiss Victory and Tract Torics. The range finder is superb. Lightening Fast yardage readings. Very, Very pleased. The rangefinder is faster and easier to use than my friends Swaro EL Range unit. My opinion, the best buy Rangefinding Binocular!

Fantastic rangefinder binocular without all the additional ballistics and Bluetooth electronics. I wanted a basic rangefinder that correct for horizontal distance, with high quality optics. The Geovid R 10x42 is the answer, with edge to edge clarity, simple reliable range finding, they are hard to beat and don’t cost in excess of $2000-$3000. Clarity is right up there with my Leica Trinovid 7x42 and Swarovski 8x50 SLC binoculars (I really can’t tell them apart during the day, sunny or cloudy, or at sunset). Very happy with the Geovid, not to mention they’ve been around a long time and have been proven reliable.
