Works really well, I previously had the 1600b and it was great also. However the 2000b has an updated trajectory chart that covers my flattest shooting rifles a 6.5 STW and 6.5-300 Weatherby. The 1600b did not. I use this range finder for both archery and rifle hunting and have owned the Swarovski EL range and Leica Geovid range finding binoculars but decided I liked the one handed use of the CRF when animals are up close.
