New for 2024, the Leofoto SA-X is one of the most compact tripod setups on the market with a perfectly balanced weight to strength ratio – now featuring an array of upgrades. The SA-X Tripods now feature a newly designed apex with a rosette connector for SA-X rifle heads as well as a 3/8" mounting screw to attach any standard 3/8" head. The rosette connector provides an extremely stable connection between the tripod's apex and the base of the head. The angle stop design has also been improved from the standard pull tab to a knurled bar which allows the user to adjust the angles with only one hand as opposed to two.

Just like the previous SA models, the SA-X Series offers unparalleled versatility, built as a hunter’s companion who also enjoys long days on the range, but most requested by military, law enforcement, competitive shooters or those simply looking for one of the most compact and reliable shooting supports on the market. These tripods feature three angle stop positions to increase shooting position capabilities and a compact design which maintains a small footprint, creating a tripod setup which is extremely easy to pack and carry on the go.

The Leofoto MK-40X Rifle Ball Head With Lever-Release Arca Clamp was designed specifically to be used on an SA-X tripod, but it features both the SA-X rosette connection as well as a standard 3/8" mounting socket. The head features an elongated knob for easy locking and unlocking of the ball, accompanied by a smaller tension control knob. The elongated knob is the perfect length to be used with a rifle clamping mount to not interfere with the large mount. The clamp is Arca compatible.
