Recently purchased this scope for my 7 rem mag Xbolt and a Vortex Viper 4-16 for my wife’s Savage 30-06. I’m fully aware comparing the two is the equivalent of the vx5hd punching down, but when people say go big on the glass, it’s hard to beat what the Leupold is doing at a few hundred dollars greater price difference in terms of edge to edge clarity, eye relief, and ultimately perceived field of view. One is like looking down a black tube while the Leupold appears to simply be a thin black bezel barely obstructing your naked eye. What a product! Heading out to shoot this as I type, so I can’t speak to the products durability, but I’ve read nothing that would lead me to believe it would be anything other than worthy of Leupolds reputation.
