Needed a lightweight medium power scope to put on my lightweight Christensen Ridgeline 300 win. I am very pleased with the VX5. It is much brighter and clearer edge to edge than the scope I replaced. The capped windage turret is nice for a hunting rig and the CDS-ZL2 elevation turret is precise and easy to dial up 2 full rotations, and back to the set zero stop. The impact 29 MOA SFP reticle is easy to see and has subtensions to allow hold overs and windage adjustments if desired.

I ordered one of these recently from Euro Optic to top a Weatherby Accumark 243 and it's a perfect combo.
Leupold got it right with this model. The glass is crisp edge to edge, and has great color and resolution. It's on par with my Swarovski Z5 3.5-18. I'm digging the Impact 29 reticle so far even though I'm an MRAD user. One really nice thing I found is that they added a index mark at 7.5x on the magnification for using the reticle at half power and doubling the values and unlike some other scopes that have this feature on their SFP models, the index mark on the Leupold is actually in the correct spot and is dead on.
As always the service from the Euro Optic staff was exceptional and they offered the best pricing. You can't go wrong with the product or the buying experience.

This is my 2nd vx5hd. I also have the htmr. Even though these optics are sfp they can track at 7.5 and 15.

Consistently the best scopes on the market for the price point. There just isn’t better low light clarity in a lighter package for a hunting weapon system. Some come close but they just don’t measure up when it comes to reticle selection and light weight. Worth every penny when it comes to having the lightest gear hunting in Idaho.
