Description

MDT’s ESS Chassis System delivers superior versatility, user friendly features, and a wide array of customization options! It utilizes MDT’s proven V-block bedding system to provide a solid, reliable base for the rifle’s action, and a semi-flush ambidextrous paddle can be activated with a weak or strong hand. The recoil lug mortise is designed to accommodate most aftermarket recoil lugs, and the trigger area will accept many aftermarket triggers. The ESS Chassis comes equipped with a fully adjustable stock, allowing the user to finely tune it to their preferred length of pull and cheek height. It ships with an MDT pistol grip that’s been strategically placed in an optimum position relative to the trigger, but this grip can be interchanged with AR-style grips as well. A polymer forend grip at the point of balance adds additional comfort, and for shooters who prefer an open grip, the ESS is equipped with thumb shelves on both sides of the chassis. The forend grip area is also wider with an octagonal profile, and a serrated barricade stop gives the user flexible options when shooting over bags.

CNC machined from Aircraft grade Aluminum and finished with H-series Cerakote. Cheek-piece, fore-grip, and butt-pad constructed of composites
