MDT's AICS-style Metal Magazines are a perfect addition to any long range shooting set up. They features a construction of high strength nitrided steel, and finished with Cerakote Elite in the inside and outside for ultimate resistance to corrosion and friction. These magazine also feature a unique Double Stack to Single Feed (DSSF) design which reduces the overall height when compared to the industry standard, making magazine changes from a prone position easier. In addition, the magazine IS NOT equipped with a binder plate, allowing for a maximum cartridge overall length of 2.960”. These are compatible with all AICS-pattern bottom metal and chassis systems, but most common actions such as Remington 700 and Savage 10/11 will require modifications to the receiver (i.e. notching out the bottom of the feed ramp) to prevent the bullet tips from catching on the bottom of the feed ramp.
