Sighted in and shot today. All I can say is damn its a shooter. Cant go wrong with this rifle. Adjusted trigger to 2 and 1/2 pounds. Perfect. Wonderful price for a great gun. You cant go wrong with Mauser. Even though its not high end it sure shoots like one.

This rifle has great performance for the price. Trigger pull is clean and the rifle is very accurate. Had 3/4 moa at 200 yds and Shot out to 600 yds before taking it out hunting with factory Hornady ammo. We took 4 deer from 350 to 540 yds and every shot hit true. Awsome rifle for the price.

Received my m18 in 6.5prc liked the fit and feel of the gun started to mount my scope this is when there was a problem the holes for mounting the scope striped out i used a torque screwdriver so as to not over torque them the mount holes had screw inserts in them not a tapped or threaded hole and the insert broke contacted the manufacturer and they said the gun was not supposed to have inserts after talking with and sending pictures of the problem they warranted the gun and I received another one great customer service from the manufacturer. Finally got scope mounted and zeroed in shot 1 inch groups at 100 and 200 yards functions nice except for when trying to cycle the bolt slowly it requires a bit of force to chamber even after oiling and shooting read somewhere it's because of dual ejectors it is not an issue when cycling normally . I like the gun shot a decent buck with it this past season i would buy another one accuracy and the feel of the stock for the price would interest me in another one maybe a 300 prc of they decided to make one

Got my gun and took to the range to sight in before the 2019 deer season. This rifle is a shooter. Sub MOA at 100yards. Shot it out to 800 yards and had a 3"-5" groupes. Harvested three deer with it this year at 620, 410, and 300 yards. They fell where they were standing. With that being said I started having problems with the bolt sticking when trying to open and had pitting on the bolt face around the firing pin after about 60 rounds. I have sent the gun back to mauser for repair, Hopefully they will solve these problems. Even with these problems I still love this gun!

I purchased one, received it and spent two days cleaning the lube from the bbl. it’s well made, Trigger is outstanding right out of the box. It is innovative at least as bolt guns go. I’d give it 5 stars except for the dbl ejectors binding the bolt as you load it. Plus I’m a left hand shooter. The barrel is crowned and machined very well but shorter and lighter than I care for. The stock is surprisingly well made for an inexpensive rifle. I’d suspect it will perform as advertised and would hit the majority of hunters and shooters expectations. It’s definitely worth the money and at worst I have a light truck rifle with range and my grandsons first Deer Rifle. A solid 4 stars plus.

Got 2 in 6.5PRC. One for my son and myself. Took to the range for initial sight-in at 100 yards. With Hornady ELD-X they are both shooting tight groups that are easily under half MOA. Most rounds are touching. So far great rifle for the price. Well balanced as a hunting rifle, that shoots like a target gun. Nice trigger. We are hopeful it will continue to do well as we work them at greater distance. With dual ejectors, it is quite stiff to lock into battery at first. It is breaking in and getting better. Fit and finish is quite good. For a poly stock it is sturdy. I don't think you could get a better performing rifle for the money.

Update: Euro Optic referred me to mfg who warranted and replaced my Mauser M18 on the spot. Two trips to range with factory Hornady 143 Gr ELDX and i shot 3 rounds .238”, and all five a penny covered. This one is exactly as advertised. I did make a Dummy Round to keep ejectors depressed and break bolt in. Much easier than shooting. I would recommend this rifle.

I purchased mine and had multiple problems with it. Euro referred me to the Service Center in San Antonio and they immediately replaced it and gave me an extra mag for my troubles.

This is a follow-up to my earlier review (Jan. 14 -before I shot it). Pros: This rifle shoots just as advertised. One inch groups or less. Has a nice trigger pull, although I can feel just a tiny bit of creep. Maybe I will adjust it down a little. Recoil is light with this caliber and stock design. Cons: I have small hands and the safety is a bit too far forward for me to release without taking my hand out of a shooting position... and it is noisy, CLICK! The shell follower in the magazine can get caught above a little projection of polymer when loading the first round if you are not careful. If you try to cycle slowly, it can be hard to close the bolt without an extra push. If you are single loading, you need to be sure to insert the round well into the chamber or the rifle will "eat" (mark up) the brass. These cons are easy to live with. This rifle is a great value and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone. Buy it while it's still at this price.

I’m 70 rounds into barrel break in. At 30 rounds the bolt smoothed up and at 58 rounds the rifle started grouping about 1/2” groups with factory or hand loads. I did add about 2 lbs weight with a big scope plus reduced trigger to just over 2 lbs. . Due to narrow rounded fore end I used a Caldwell Rifle Mount instead of just bags. This rifle is well made and thought out. Excellent hunting rifle for first time buyer or limited budget. I got it for my Grandson . It does seem to prefer a dirty bore to group well. It’s really not particular on loads and all I’ve shot would have taken game. At 9 lbs it’s much more pleasant on the bench.

I put 16 rounds of Hornady 147 ELD-M through my new rifle today. 6.5 PRC. I got 1 inch groups but hope that my future Handloads will tighten up a bit. What surprised me was the mild recoil. About like my 6.5 Creedmoor shooting the same bullet. Really like the rifle. Not to heavy to carry around the Mountains of Utah where I live.

I just bought the M18 6.5 PRC, first 4 shots at 100 yards were all Touching with outside diameter less than a dime size. I love this gun.

At europtics pricing and barring a rare factory snafu, it's hard to give this rifle a less than 5 star rating. Any decent optic competantly mounted should provide a far above average set up.

This is the follow-up on my earlier post about my 6.5 PRC that I wrote before actually shooting this rifle, so.... IT SHOOT AS GOOD AS, OR BETTER THAN ADVERTISED: Mauser advertises sub-minute five shot groups for the M18. I shot a five shot cluster that measures just .458, and even including a "flier", the SIX shot group was only .945. All handloads, and I will be tinkering around with the loads a little, but very promising, so far. I am very pleased, and what a bargain!

Lot of gun for $470. Shoots 3/8 MOA on a poorly lit indoor range with factory Hornady ammo. I own a lot of Sauer and Blaser rifles and while they're not exactly the same, it shoots just as well. Excellent rifle not just for the price, but in general.

Finally got an opportunity to shoot this rifle. I love the light recoil overall weight. Look forward to harvesting a deer with it

Purchased the 6.5 PRC. Sighted in at the range had a beautiful shot grouping at dead center (rounds right on top of each other, m.m. apart). Mauser did right with this value priced rifle. Definitely worth it!!!

First off, you can't find the PRC rounds in regular stores. I ordered it online and when I finally got to use the rifle after almost 6 months of purchase, the bolt wouldn't close on the round. Now I don't know if its the rifle or the ammo but its quite disappointing to go through so many hoops

Update 2 hours range time, got past bolt problems left handed. Did 23 rounds 143 Gr Hornady ELD-X at 100 yds bench rest 3x9 Swarovski Scope. I probably need more glass and it’s coming. Did not achieve any decent sub MOA groups. All would have killed a deer. It’s really to light to be a bench gun by at least 2 lbs and the stocks is narrow on front forearm. It is a good stalking rifle but I’d question someone saying they regularly shoot Sub MOA groups with factory loads. The bolt shooting Left Hand binds occasionally due to operator error. It will make my Grandson a nice first Rifle, but this old Texan is keeping his 308 Sako TRG. This rifle is a good value for an entry level firearm.

Just picked it up last night. I was not sure what to expect for such a low price. I was pleasantly surprised at the feel and quality. Good workmanship on the metal, smooth strong action. I will get it to the range soon, but so far my first impression is that Mauser is building pretty nice rifles.

Got the M18 in 6.5 PRC for a dedicated hunting rifle. Told myself I would be happy if it maintained 1 moa. Mounted my scope, NF SHV and took it to the range to sight in. Boresighted and fired first round. 1 mil up and 1 mil left adjustment. Second shot dead center. Let's see what it can do. Put 4 more rounds into the target. First group out of the rifle measured 5/8" at 100 yards. Finished up the box of ammo with two more five shot and one four shot group. All groups measured less than 3/4". Couldn't be happier.

So far the rifle has arrived at my dealer in California and I filled out the federal and state paperwork, and I am waiting for the 10-day wait clock to count down to Jan 5th. My initial impression is good after examining the fit and finish of my M18 in 6.5 PRC, especially considering the price!

Love the gun so far. Got it sighted in with factory ammo (Hornady 143gr Eldx). After that shot five shots with 130 grain Sierra gamechangers I loaded. The 1st 4 shots were all in a ragged hole that looked like 2 shots. My last shot I believe I pulled and it hit a little to the right. Even with the shot I pulled it was a 3/4" group at 100 yards. The 1st 4 shots were probably around 1/4". Nicely built, nice trigger, smooth short bolt throw. Beyond pleased for spending under $500.

Picked up my M18 in 6.5 PRC yesterday, and what a surprise! I like everything about this rifle. Fit and finish are excellent, silky smooth bolt, really nice trigger, great balance, and a very robust feel about it. Sure it's not a 98, but who could afford one of those! Mauser put in ALL the features/quality that a rifle NEEDS, and it's not a bad-looking gun, either. I haven't shot it yet, but will repost after I do. Normally, I am very annoyed when people post reviews about products they haven't yet tried, and I have not done that in the past, but this rifle is too good not to give it a shout-out right away. I've had many, many rifles over the last sixty years, and this one may be one of the best at any price. As soon as it stops snowing and blowing (in Montana), I will do some shooting - if it shoots as well as it looks, this will be the best deal out there - and post an update. In the meantime, you might check this baby out.
