Meprolight's FT Bullseye 45 Backup Sight is an excellent addition to any rifle or carbine setup. It attaches to the host weapon via picatinny rail, and can be used alongside a magnified optic as a fast, instinctive close range aiming solution, or as a backup sight in the event of a broken or damaged optic. Like all the sights in Meprolight's Bullseye series, the FT Bullseye 45 Backup Sight's aiming point is composed of a ring and a center dot. Simply align the dot in the center of the ring, when the dot is centered in the ring the weapon is on target. When in broad daylight, the FT Bullseye is powered by fiber optics to provide ultra-bright illumination, while tritium illuminates the sight in the dark. Transition between aiming in bright and low-light conditions is seamless, and the tritium/fiber optic system means no batteries are needed. In addition, the FT Bullseye 45 Backup Sight features windage and elevation screws for zeroing, and doesn't require a front sight.
