Meprolight’s M22 Reflex Sight delivers an ideal aiming solution for a wide assortment of different weapon platforms. Like its predecessor the M21, the M22 uses a system of fiber optics and tritium to illuminate the reticle – this ensures the reticle is always on and always ready in any lighting condition, environment, or weather. One of the M22’s most notable features is the fact that it doesn’t use batteries, buttons, or switches thanks to its unique tritium/fiber optic illumination system which keeps operation easy and intuitive. The fiber optics utilize an optimized light gathering system for daylight usage, and allows for a smaller aiming point. The fiber optics also automatically adjusts the reticle brightness based on ambient light, allowing the M22 to adapt to changing light levels. The tritium on the other hand accommodates usage in situations with little to no light. Transition between the two illumination systems is seamless, and provides a crisp, distinct reticle with sharp contrast.
Other features of the M22 include a thin frame and display window, allowing the shooter to keep both eyes open for greater situational awareness. The M22’s durable housing allows the optic to withstand the worst possible conditions, and a modular design with a replaceable shell allows the M22 to be upgraded.
