First off, I'm a big fan of Meprolight. I am NOT a fan of this product. It is feature rich, and I prefer the MRS system, however...this one has been nothing but problems since purchase. Not only does it not remember brightness settings, it also randomly shuts off during range sessions. So, this goes back to Meprolight. Now...in all fairness, it may function properly IF you shoot a gentle caliber like 9mm, but for any caliber (any, as in even mild 40 or 357Sig) it may be alright....but I doubt it.

I'm a rural Alaskan LEO and sportsman. I'm actually not a big fan of sidearm red dots. They just don't hold up to use on my off-duty sidearms of choice. Long story less short, so far this little dot has held up well to plenty of 10mm abuse and that multi-reticle is the ONLY way to go. We'll see what wjnter brings, but this little tank of a dot is "so far, so good "
