Gunwerks Mountain X 6.5x284 Long Range Package

This Gunwerks Mountain X 6.5x284 rifle was born on the side of a mountain - at 7,500 feet elevation, and climbing.

The goal of Gunwerks was to create a version of the LR-1000 that is as light as possible. The end product of this mission is the Mountain X. It features a light G2 contour barrel with ten flutes threaded to a lighter titanium action. Its fitted in the lightest version of of our carbon fiber LR-1000 stock with a Gunwerks bedding chassis. This model has been taken to the brink of the weight/performance trade off. While it is light, the Mountain X can control the big cartridges needed for shooting beyond 1000 yards.

This is the rifle you take to the top of the mountain after the biggest game.
