This distance could vary depending on the moon phase, quality of scope, environmental conditions and a hunter’s eyesight. There is no focusing or adjusting needed, whether your target is 20 feet or 250 yards just turn the light on and shoot. It has an attachable halo shield to help keep unwanted light from reflecting off the gun and reflecting back into the scope.
