When I look through this scope on 1x, I see everything as it should be, just with a crisp reticle over it. I zoom to 2x. Everything is the same, but twice as close. I move it to 4x. I can now see the molecules that make up the trees. I falter. do I zoom even more? Am I allowed to have this kind of power? I touch the throw lever.. and I push it ever so slowly to 6x. I brace myself for what I might see. I bring my eye to the scope. Tears immediately stream from my eyes. I see the face of God smiling at me, with golden rays of light emanating behind him. Actually, No; He does not smile at me. He smiles FOR me. He knows I have found my inner peace with this scope. After some time, I take my eye away. That was 6x.. what will I see when it's on 8x? The throw lever glides right. I look through the crystal clear glass. I can see all that has been.. and all that ever will be. Before I remove my eye from the scope, I see one final thing. I see you. Yes, you. I see you buying this scope. I see you buying this scope and you do not regret it.

The best glass I have ever seen. Makes my other NX8 optics look cheap. I mounted this with a Scaler works mount to my SCAR 17 and added a 45-degree red dot. Great combo. Still hard to believe how good the glass is. Now I am debating which guns in my safe deserve an optic upgrade. I may need to work some overtime to pay for this obsession.

Excellent optic! After running NX8s 1-8 for years, this is a major upgrade in glass quality, field of view, and reticle. But it also comes with more weight, and the nice eye relief suggests mounting it a bit further forward (at least for me); shooting standing to 200+ yards has become a bit more challenging. I think I will actually run it on a heavier rifle/AR10 and keep the NX8s for the lighter/duty rifles. Great optic and service!

This is the highest quality LPVO you can buy, you may pay more but you won’t get anything as well built with top tier optics’s as NF, this ATACR is a go to war scope
