The Nightforce ATACR 7-35c56 F1 is a pinnacle-class, first-focal-plane riflescope designed for long-range precision. With a zoom range spanning 7c to 35c paired to a 56 mm objective lens, it delivers exceptional clarity and light transmission through fully multi-coated ED glass. Constructed with a robust 34 mm one-piece tube machined from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum, the housing is overbuilt for thermal and mechanical stability. The turrets operate on .1 mrad click values and offer 27 mrad of elevation travel, with ZeroStop allowing instant and repeatable return to your zero point. Windage is adjustable across 16 mrad, and side-focus parallax reaches from 11 yards to infinity. The scope features DigIllum illumination with the H59 reticle-a first-focal-plane mil-based reticle tailored for ranging and holdovers at any magnification. Despite its rugged design, it weighs just 39.3 oz and measures 16 inches in length, striking an ideal balance of strength and handling. Included accessories like the Power Throw Lever (PTL) enable rapid magnification changes, and industry-grade Tenebraex flip covers help protect the lenses in the field. Backed by Nightforce's limited lifetime warranty, this model is built to endure and reliably repeat in extreme conditions.
Nightforce's latest entry into the extreme long range riflescope market is the Advanced Tactical Riflescope (ATACR) in the line's highest magnification range - 7-35x56. This extensive magnification range is paired with a first focal plane configuration, and a selection of available reticles to provide what can be considered one of the finest options for long-range tactical applications, precision rifle competition (PRS competitors are already anticipating this), or long-range hunting.
Like all of the optics in the ATACR family, the 7-35x56mm variation features a one-piece tube precision machined from a solid bar stock of 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum alloy. The tube is two to three times thicker than riflescopes of a lesser quality, resulting in less overall stress, greater thermal stability, a consistent zero and a virtually impervious shield for the precision optics within. The lenses are matched and aligned by hand in a process called optical indexing to ensure the highest possible optical performance. The objective lens utilizes a multi-element design like those found in the highest quality telescopes to focus light rays more precisely for exceptional image clarity and color accuracy. Optical performance is further enhanced thanks to multi-coated ED glass that results in superb light transmission, brilliant images, and exceptional color contrast. The elevation turret on ATACR Riflescopes are equipped with Nightforce’s ZeroStop Technology to provide an instant return to zero after making adjustments in the field. After sighting in your rifle, simply set the ZeroStop to create a positive mechanical stopping point at your chosen zero point. Then, no matter how many elevation adjustments you make, turning the elevation knob down to the ZeroStop setting returns you to your original zero, completely by feel—even in total darkness or while wearing gloves. The internal mechanisms on the windage and elevation turrets are held in place by a specially designed spring that spends two weeks in a polishing tumbler before being installed in the optic to deliver perfectly smooth operation. This guarantees zero loss of integrity, zero loss of repeatability.
Nightforce is already known for ruggedness and reliability in their riflescope lines, and the ATACR 7-35x56 is no exception; building from his foundation, the scope has many features, including:
