Nightforce NX8 1-8x24mm F1 .2 MRAD PTL FC-DMX Dark Earth Riflescope w/Capped E/W C663

Upon receiving this scope, I open the box and immediately notice a huge crack in the reticle lens that covers pretty much the entire upper half of the reticle. Called customer service, and they did a great job trying to rectify the issue. Sent me a return label, and I had a replacement scope within 3 days. Open the box… exact same thing with that one. So now it’s at Nightforce being warrantied, with a 6 week expected wait for it to be done and shipped back. So 5⭐️ for EuroOptic customer service. I’d give the scope itself 5⭐️ as well, because it is built exactly as you’d expect a Nightforce to be built. And no company is immune to having mishaps in manufacturing or putting out lemons. That’s why companies have QC departments. I give zero stars for Nightforce QC department, as both scopes had the same person QC them, so whoever CT is, needs to be retrained on what acceptable flaws in an $1850 scope are. I’ll give you a hint, there aren’t any, it had better be perfect… let alone have glaring obvious flaws like cracks in the reticle lens. C’mon Nightforce, be better.

I read the first 2 reviews and was very concerned about the NX8. I still took a chance and couldn't be happier. This is just a preliminary review so keep that in mind. Out of the box it was in perfect condition. I have this sitting on top of a rifle I built using a Geissele's ddc upper and lower. The rifle is using a Noveske stainless recon barrel and BCG. The NX8 is mounted in a Geissele super precision mount. The finish on the NX8 is very close to Geissele's ddc. The FC-DMx is very nice however, at 1x the red dot, not really a dot, is quite big. I thought the eyebox was acceptable. Did a quick 100m sight-in. Had an awesome 5 shot group under half a minute using homegrown 77gr. I'm very happy with the purchase. If possible I'll give an update after 500-1000 rounds or so. Eurooptic.com is awesome!

Fantastic scope. Arrived in perfect condition

I was skeptical when considering purchase of this scope due to the reviewers that had cracks in theirs. I contacted customer service and had a great dialog. Ended up pulling the trigger and I could not be happier. No defects on mine at all. Glass is superb. There is a little fisheye at 1x but nothing to write home about. The illumination is more than red dot bright and the reticle is exactly what I was looking for to go on my 14.5. Can’t wait to get it to the range this weekend. Eurooptic has hands down the best customer service I’ve ever dealt with. I will be purchasing from y’all again.
