I bought 200 6x47 Lapua. A few neck dings, only a couple that did not iron out, which prevented dependable neck turning clean up - these will be fowlers. Brass length was very disappointing. Max length for the 6x47L is 1.850". Most chamber reamers are 1.860". I feel that the brass should ALL be a minimum of 1.840", no reason to be shorter than that, and some longer can be cured by trimming - which we all do. I have multiple pieces per box of 50 that are 1.835 to 1.837, which is WAY short. I will not trim all of the brass to this very short length, so therefore I have inconsistent length, and cannot pre the brass all the same - turning cut into the shoulder. Hopefully these will grow with 1st firing. The reason I purchased Peterson brass in 6x47L was because brass prep should be very easy, consistent, no forming, just a slight neck cleanup. It will be spring before I fire this brass, and I hope performance will be on par with Lapua brass - which I have used and have been successful with - but prep time is more extensive. Please, Peterson brass, in the future make these cases AT LEAST 1.840"! Dave

I have been wanting 6x47 Lapua brass for years without having to neck it down. Also being stamped appropriately makes it even better. Get rid of confusion. I am elated.
