These objective lens protective covers were developed specifically for the discerning marksman. They can be folded up against the tube body, and engage easily in this position. The ease of rotation of the protective cover is also assured by means of some precision detents, meaning that it can always be moved into a position in which it does not obstruct the marksman when at work.

I purchased 2 of this exact model 2 months apart. The first fit perfectly. The second had straps about 1/2 inch too long. Used on the same S&B scope 3-12x50.
Just bought this for a early 90’s S&B 3-12x50 scope, the objective lens side fits perfect, the eyepiece side is 3/16 inch to big for my scope, length is perfect. This lens cover measurements are 2-1/4” objective lens, 1-11/16” eyepiece, 12-3/16” unstretched and fairly easily stretches out to 14 inches.
