Specifically designed for use with a suppressor, the SBR8 by Seekins Precision is an excellent choice for quick and quiet shooting applications such as home defense, short-range competitions, and sport shooting. This compact and highly versatile carbine is outfitted with a wide array of performance enhancing features not found on weapons of lesser quality. The upper receiver is composed of Seekins Precision’s own iRMT – an upper that utilizes an integrated picatinny rail mounting point at the 12 o’clock position for optimal rigidity and end-user customization. The SBR8’s lower receiver is the SP223, another Seekins exclusive that features an Enhanced Bolt Catch and Ambi-release, as well as custom screw in dowel pins, hammers, and pin punches to make assembly and disassembly easy. To make suppressed shooting as seamless as possible, the SBR8 is equipped with a Low Profile Adjustable Gas Block. This allows the user to finely tune the carbine to fit their specific ammunition preference and suppressor for faster follow up shots, target acquisition, and greater reliability. Other features of the SBR8 include a 12” MCSR handguard, which has multiple M-LOK attachment points for the installation of tactical lights, lasers, and other accessories, and a full length picatinny rail provides more than enough rail space for mounting optics, iron sights, and clip-on night vision and thermal devices. In addition, the SBR8 is outfitted with an Odin Works Close Quarters Stock, that can be rapidly deployed thanks to its spring loaded system and offers 5 selectable stock lengths.
