Inspired by the MIL-SPEC ROMEO-M17, the ROMEO-X SIG-LOC delivers the quality and performance that all Sig Sauer products are known for. It attaches to the host weapon via SIG-LOC (Sig Leverage Optimizing Connection) – a proprietary design that mounts from underneath pistol slide and reuses the MHS pistol rear sight block to create a solid interface between the optic and pistol thanks to 5 points of contact. This design also creates a longer focal length to reduce parallax and create a sharper reticle. The ROMEO-X SIG-LOC’s housing is made from high-strength 7075 Aluminum, and utilizes a fully enclosed argon purged optical system for ultimate protection from the elements, recoil, and impacts.
The ROMEO-X SIG-LOC is powered by a single CR1632 battery and features a minimum continuous runtime of 20,000 hours at the medium brightness setting. The battery compartment is side-mounted, allowing the battery to be changed without removing the optic from the pistol. The ROMEO-X SIG-LOC’s is available with 3 reticle options, a 2 MOA Dot / 32 MOA circle combination, a 3 MOA Dot, or a 6 MOA Dot. Other features of the ROMEO-X SIG-LOC include independent brightness adjustment buttons that are recessed within a protective plate which can be activated even with gloves on. Buttons have bump features above UP and below DOWN, so they can be determined by feel.
