This is an honest review from a dummy like myself who had to learn the hard way just to see how great this object is I have all of the optics on my pistol I bought them all because it's a sickness and this one is simply the best out of them all it has the best of both worlds it's an open or closed I use the closed part and if you're worried about humidity water or anything like that trust me I tested it nothing it's clear it's crisp it's super durable and it just simply outlasted the rest is it expensive yes is it bulky yes trust me learn how to put it together don't over torque the small screws that hold the shroud this thing is absolutely the best out of them all and I'm being honest not getting paid for this this is just an honest honest review it's simply is the best because I tested it up against the other best and this one came out on top

Great sight, crisp dot. It’s a lower profile without shrouds for carry use, but I have the full shroud ser up for it and have had a good experience with it. I have the 6 MOA version and it has taken a few drops through range/duty use. You receive a cardboard box with Sig/Romeo 2 on the top and sides, and inside you’ll find the Romeo 2, its shrouds, a polycarbonate lens, a lens pen, 2 mounting screws, 2 LCI shields, and 4 T6 screws. There is other documentation and a manual. Please read the manual. I shouldn’t have to say that but you’d be suprised!! Don’t listen to the other reviewer using an electric gauge for such tiny screws, just screw them hand-tight or right when you start feeling resistance and you’ll be good to go. The box also comes with loctite, which will give you more peace of mind about those little T6 screws backing out. Used this on my P320 M18 and have not had them back out after 2k rounds. Have swapped it back and forth between fullsize, compact, and carry slides. I’d recommend waiting til its back in stock here than to buy direct from Sig, they have listed them for over 800!! Not worth that much. ~550 is a great price for what you get, seriously. Go ahead and watch Sage Dynamic’s burndown test of this sight too, you won’t be disappointed, and neither am I. I would recommend this over a Deltapoint Pro and Romeo 1 Pro any day.

The sight its self is very nice and solid construction. The main issue I had was with the shroud screws. They are very tiny and I was concerned about stripping them or breaking them before I even began mounting the shroud to the optic. When I began mounting the shroud screws to the sight I used an electronic torque gauge to ensure I would never exceed the 6lbs limit of the screws. Well, I made to about half way at 3lbs showing on the gauge when the screw broke in half making it impossible to mount and/or remove the broken screw inside of the sight. I have mounted many sights and other items requiring torque specs. There was no binding to indicate there was an issue or over torquing. This may just be a me issues but, I caution you when mounting the screws. Now I have an open emitter sight $200.00 more than an RMR or DPP. I would spend the same money on the ACRO P2 if you can get it. I admit the sight is nice and the concept is very cool. Just mad that my $600.00 optic is no longer able to use a shroud and cannot return or probably sell.

Sight is just what I was looking for, as far as the torque wrench , the torque bit didn’t fit the torque screws very well. Had to use the set I had . Thats my only complaint.

Excellent optic, clarity and dot are perfect. Built like a tank with or without the shroud. Brand new out of the box I mounted it and assembled in full containment mode, looks great and the sight window is huge and clear, much improved over my trijicon. The Romeo2 comes with a nice torque wrench and instructions. Be careful not to over torque anything. This thing is the real deal and I 100% recommend this pistol sight, even though it's expensive it will likely last a lifetime of hard use.
