Used this optic paired with the Juliet 4 power magnifier at a recent 2 day tactical carbine course. My rifle and equipment were driven hard during those two day. Sig equipment performed like a champ!

It is a decent sight for the money. Even though it is cheaper I find I actually like the Romeo 5 XDR better. Additionally, I find the circle dot of the XDR much easier for me to see than the circle plex I got in the 4H. The plex just looks fuzzy to me, unless I use a magnifier - then it is good, so I know it my eyes and not a problem with the sight. If I were to do it again though, I would go with a 4T (and circle dot) which is an upgraded version of this sight.

The service Euro Optic gave was excellent. Fast shipping, lots of products to choose from and excellent pricing. The sight is well made with 7075-t6 aluminum, the turrets click very solidly and the buttons are stiff enough to not get bumped up and down accidentally. Sig only including a true cowitness mount without some kind of riser was disappointing. I ended up ordering a lower 1/3 mount, which is a T2 footprint but matches to the sig body a little awkwardly due to Sigs insistance on being unique while still using the same mounting system. I was a little disappointed at first when I realized I had ordered the circleplex reticle with a crosshair around a 1moa dot instead of the more traditional 2moa dot, this was my own mistake, but after receiving the sight I'm more than satisfied. My eye picks up the crosshair quite well without magnification, it acts like a bigger dot than it is and for me works better than a regular 2moa dot. The reticle is extremely clean under magnification. The crosshair seems to work better for my eyes, something I didn't expect. The small center dot stays extremely small under magnification for fine aiming. I can see some people saying the crosshair will cover too much of the target but that doesn't seem to be an issue for me at the distances I'm looking to use this sight. Considering I ended up paying significantly less for this sight due to it having the less desirable reticle, I'm kinda glad other people don't seem to like it.

Really slick little sight and love the fact I can easily get batteries just about anywhere, vs. specialty batteries.
My only disappointment is it's not a true red dot, but rather a red "crosshair"/crosshair circle, but still gives plenty fine enough aiming point without a magnifier, to be reasonably accurate at a 100 yards out of a Virtus.
