I ran across this style of jacket in of all places Kodiak, AK where it can rain a lot. It was half price, so I purchased it for my son. It worked so well on the 8 day deer hunt that I purchased another one for myself when I returned home for use on Kodiak and Southeast Alaska hunts. Few jackets are extra long and keep you dry when wearing a backpack all day long. Shorter jackets tend to hike up, letting water in. The three layer Gore-Tex performed great.

Only reason I didn't give it a 5 is because it hasn't seen rain and not hunted. great looking product.
