Sitka's Waterfowl apparel was designed with the waterfowl hunter in mind, setting up decoys and settling into a blind can be a very physical process causing you to sweat even in frigid conditions—to combat that, Sitka gear is designed to be layered allowing you to shed layers during peak activity and to add layers while waiting for the birds to come into range. Waterfowl hunting is done in a high contrast environment. Skylight from the horizon or light reflected from the water will shine through gaps.
