In 1974, the Standard M1A became available to the public which was the semi-automatic variant of the M14 which was the standard issued rifle for the United Stated Military from 1959 to 1970. Springfield Armory's Standard M1A has a military two-stage trigger, detachable box magazine, op-rod, roller cam bolt and rear aperture side that is adjustable for windage and elevation.
