The OnneX Hinge Release shares the same profile as the other premium releases in the Onnex series, allowing for a seamless transition between them. This is evident in the Whale Tail finger piece, which comes standard on all OnneX releases and serves as a place to rest your pinky to provide the feel of a 4-finger handle with a 3-finger body. Alternatively, the Whale Tail can be removed for a 2-finger release, or can be replaced with the included finger piece for use as a true 4-finger handle. Both finger pieces feature adjustable pivot points, allowing the archer to customize the fit and feel of the OnneX.

The OnneX Hinge Release is outfitted with a wide assortment exclusive features. It utilizes a draw control system that’s activated via thumb peg – simply hold the peg down with your thumb during your draw to prevent accidental release. This feature is great for beginners, and provides an extra level of safety while letting the bow down, but can be deactivated by turning a screw. Other features of the OnneX Hinge Release includes large and small barrels, as well as two barrel extensions.
