I own a few LPVO's a Steiner M5xi 1-5, T5xi 1-5 and a Trijicon Credo HX 1-6 to compare too and like Steiner products. I'm going to say that for a 6 more bucks buy the Credo you like. The Credo HX glass is better to my eye, the red dot is more than daylight bright on setting 7 of 10 on my HX, it comes with a Neoprene cover and throw lever. The Credo has a better field of view at 1x and flatter image with more magnification on top. The P4xi G1 green is barely visible at max setting in full sun (like most green LED reticles) and does not come with any extras like the P4xi P3TR. The P4xi had some tool marks/damage on the front lens retaining ring from the factory. the turrets are mushy so it was going back. I'm not ragging on the Steiner it's a nice scope made in the USA but it would be a better value at $500. Eurooptics CS is great and I was given a RA# in one day to send the scope back.

I'm one of the rare guys-- or perhaps the only one that strongly gravitates to the G1 reticle over the PTR3. I sold my PTR3 because I do not like the thick plex lines blocking the target at medium+ range. I love the fine dot with breathing room around it to place over targets at 200 yards+. I've thought about sighting it in with the top of the triangle as my zero for even greater definition at range, but have yet to test this.
I really like how visible the green illumination is to my eyes. It feels more natural vs red, without sacrificing anything. I do wish that it was brighter in direct sunlight, but then shake awake would also be sweet. Most of the time I don't need illumination, but it's nice to have for low light situations and competitive / defensive rapid shooting.
The Schott glass is phenomenal, and I love that the optic is made in the USA. Mostly though, I purchased the P4Xi because it is affordable, lightweight, and very easy on the eyes. I have not found a better lightweight option that currently exists.
Thank you EuroOptic!!

Five stars for EuroOptic! Fast shipping and great tracking information! G1 green illuminated reticle is not daytime bright on light colored objects in direct sun light but still very useable! Entire G1 reticle is illuminated and designed more for ranging than the P3TR BDC illuminated red dot version. G1 has a locking diopter ring which the P3TR does not. Turrets mushy and battery compartment cap hard to remove. Same great Schott glass and American made! Purchased during EuroOptic’s close out sale!

I have several high-end scopes and the Steiner is the best one the glass is unbelievable so Crystal clear and it's true 1x magnification just like you're looking through a red dot and that new G1 reticle for close quarters combat it's unbeatable people don't like it because they just I guess they don't know how to really use it too well but it works trust me it works awesome scope definitely recommend it and I definitely recommend EuroOptic too great place

All Steiner Optics have great glass, this optic is great for close quarter shots and longer if needed. Very pleased with the scope and its capabilities at this price point.
Great price and fast shippong too!
Thanks to EURO-OPTIC for supporting the Military and Law Enforcement community.

Not sure about the reticle yet. Maybe I'll learn to love it.

This is my first Steiner optic, and I can't say enough great things about it. The glass is crystal clear, generous eye relief and an excellent field of view at any magnification. I've run Nightforce for years and was skeptical on purchasing another brand since I'm so used to the quality of NF. I can honestly say, the Steiner LVPO is on the same level, if not better than my NX8. The ONLY negative thing I can possibly say, is that the elevation and windage knobs aren't as tactical as I'd like, they're a bit mushy, but once set, you really don't mess with them with a 1-4 LVPO. So not a big deal at all.

Great 1-4 lpvo…it lights green which is a good thing for the Fla sun…it’s a lightweight choice to replace a red dot…As always Eurooptics was hassle free and awesome!

I bought this optic a few months ago and mounted it to a Larue via an ADM Recon mount a few months ago and finally got around to shooting it the other day. I bought the G1 reticle because or price only and wasn't sure if I was going to like it. Well, it turns out I do like it. It somehow draws my eye directly to the center dot and shooting was fast on 1x, as well as , 4x. The reticle is visible in most situations except the brightest of Florida's daylight. I probably would have liked the central red dot on the PTR3 better, but I'm not disappointed due to the savings I got by buying this model.

I like the greater precision the other reticle offers. The diamond is small enough to be functional for applications at shorter and mid range. Im concerned when I shoot past 50 I will loose some of the precision. Like the other model, the glass is clear and easy operation.

I have generation 1 of this scope and it is a winner. When purchased many years ago, it was ~400.00.

Clear and end to end glass with no shadowing. This scope has best in class fov. Overall, fantastic performance in day and low light. The g1 reticle was precise at the 100 yards and under.
If I were to buy another scope this would be the one I get. Best of all it’s made in America.
