Steiner T432 Cal. 5.56 Prism Sight 8797-556

Glass is great, reticle is easy to use. Illumination is "daylight noticeable", it's no red dot but you can certainly see it. Eye box is surprisingly good, eye relief is short like most prism scopes. I have it mounted 2 slots from the back of the receiver to clear my rear sights and have to run the stock at the 3rd position to get a clear FOV. All in all a solid choice for the money.

I have weapons with an ACOG, Aimpoint and now a Steiner Prism sight and I must say this is an awsome optical sight. It in some areas for me the end user better than the ACOG with it's better eye relief and ability to focus the reticle with adjustments. I find the only real advantage of the ACOG is that it does not require a battery like the Steiner T-Sight 4X32 needing a CR2032 battery for illumination, by the way is only needed in low-light situations as the reticle appears as black without the illumination on so still useable. The Aimpoint I have is non-magnifying and does co-witness with the iron-sights of the weapon so is a bit better at target accuisition at ranges of 100 meters or less, then gives way to the magnified optics at that point. As normal with Eurooptics the service is excellent and the products the sell are great in variety and price ranges. This Steiner T-Sight 4X32 is packed with excellent engineering, robustness and ease of use by the end user, enough said except that it is a bargain at this price!
