T.R.U. Ball’s X-Tension R/T delivers high performance and unmatched versatility! This wrist strap release can be shot in two ways: a pull through method and a relax tension method.

To configure the X-Tension R/T to a pull through style release, set the X-Tension R/T five lbs over your holding weight at full draw, then draw the bow the thumb and index finger tension levers tightly depressed throughout the drawing of the bow. Once full draw is reached, remove pressure from the thumb and index finger tension levers and use back tension to pull through the shot. When you reach five lbs over your holding weight, the release will fire.

To configure the X-Tension R/T to a relax tension style release, set the X-Tension R/T five lbs under your holding weight at full draw, and draw the bow with the thumb and index finger tension levers tightly depressed throughout the drawing of the bow. After that, slowly relax pressure on the tension levers and the bow will fire.

Other features of the X-Tension R/T includes T.R.U. Ball’s exclusive Tri-Star Hook System which consists of three rotating hooks, allowing a new hook to always be ready shot after shot for fast and easy loading. In addition, the X-Tension R/T features a red ring at the base of the release head allowing you to micro-adjust the amount of tension needed to fire the release.
