Description
Taurus’s 1911 Commander offers the high performance Taurus firearms are known for, and is a perfect choice for carry, personal defense, or home defense. It features a shorter overall profile when compared to a traditional full-size 1911, but retains the same grip size to provide a positive grip purchase. The grips utilize diamond checkering, and an extended beavertail, both of which provide excellent control over the weapon and a comfortable shooting experience. Other features of the Taurus 1911 Commander include drift-adjustable Novak front and rear sights, and cocking serrations in the fore and aft areas of the slide make chambering a round effortless. In addition, the Taurus 1911 Commander is available in 9mm Luger and .45 ACP.
