The G3 Tactical by Taurus is a high performance handgun that excels in personal defense and tactical applications. It comes equipped with Taurus’s exclusive T.O.R.O. optics mounting system, which utilizes an optics cut in the slide as well as 4 interchangeable red dot mounting plates that can accommodate the vast majority of today’s popular red dots made by Holosun, Trijicon, Leupold, and more. The G3 Tactical utilizes Taurus’s exclusive G Series Trigger System, which is composed of a 2-stage flat faced trigger that provides a light take-up, a distinct wall, a clean break, and fast reset. Together, these trigger qualities give the G3 Tactical exceptional accuracy, and ensure follow-up shots are quick and accurate. The G3 Tactical’s barrel is outfitted with a DLC (Diamond Like Coating) to enhance the barrel’s durability and service life, as well as reducing friction. The barrel also features 1/2x28” threads to accommodate the use of a suppressor. Other features of the G3 Tactical include a loaded chamber indicator for instant verification of a loaded weapon, as well as a restrike capability to allow the operator to strike the primer again in the event of a failure-to-fire condition. In addition, the G3 Tactical’s slide features a Cerakote Patriot Brown slide for optimal resistance to the elements and scratches.
