At the price point I don’t think you could expect anything better for a ffp 1x8. The reticle is fast to acquire at low power, and at 8 power it is fine enough to shoot pretty well. If I was going to try to optimize my groups at distance I wouldn’t recommend it, but for a versatile 5.56 carbine it’s tough to beat. Notice the 34 mm is big and heavy, but it’s a good scope. Glass is pretty clear, not amazing.

While I'm no expert on scopes, I have owned many over the years. This Credo 1x8 looks to be an excellent scope for the price. I wanted something no made in China. While I think this one is made in Japan, I thought the reticle was what I was looking for. So many other scopes similar to the Credo I thought had just too busy a reticle for my hunting purpose. I love this reticle. Plenty bright in the daylight and if battery fails, still an excellent reticle for hunting. This is my 2nd scope from the guys at Eurooptic and they are a pleasure doing business with.

Very nice LPVO!!! Controls are great. Very fast reticle and very clear Japan glass. This goes well with the trijicon 34mm mount. Easy to mount and very easy to zero.
