I absolutely love this mount. I've used piggyback mounts before bit never tried a 45 degree offset. The piggyback
Doesnt hold a candle to the offset. Instead of going from cheek weld to chin weld and re-adjust, you simply rotate the rifle and keep your cheek weld. It's so much better I started laughing when I first used it it because it's so awesome.
I do not like the quick release knob, I kept hitting my knuckles when I pulled the charging handle so I first tried moving the mount forward but it seemed to stick out way to far up there and was a snag hazard so I replaced the QR knob with a #10-24 x 1 1/2 cap screw socket and a small washer (1" is too short and they didnt have a 1 1/4)
No more skinned knuckles and now it's perfect.

The mount is of great quality and low enough to make mounting with most scopes simple. The forward battery compartment of a VCOG will require placing RMR mount further forward, more near also impedes access to VCOG’s AA battery tube. It’s easily fastened and removed with spring aided tensioner.
